These Terms of Trade apply to business customers who order from funeralprinter.co.uk. By creating a trade account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

These terms are a working draft for review. They are not a substitute for legal advice.

1. Who we sell to

1.1 We supply print and related services to genuine funeral-sector businesses only (for example funeral directors, celebrants, crematoria, florists and memorial suppliers).

1.2 You confirm you are buying in the course of your business, not as a consumer.

1.3 We may ask for proof of trade status before we approve an account or fulfil an order. We may refuse or close an account if we reasonably believe you are not an eligible trade customer.

2. Accounts

2.1 You must give accurate business details and keep them up to date.

2.2 You are responsible for account login details and for orders placed through your account.

2.3 Multi-location / group portals (where offered) remain under the control of the head-office or approved admin account.

3. Quotes, prices and offers

3.1 Prices on the site or in a quote are in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless we say otherwise.

3.2 Delivery charges are extra unless we say they are included.

3.3 Welcome offers (for example 50 velvet business cards with delivery only payable) and sample packs are subject to eligibility, one per eligible business where stated, and any extra conditions we publish with the offer.

3.4 We may change prices and offers at any time. The price for an accepted order is the price confirmed when we accept that order.

4. Orders and artwork

4.1 Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm acceptance (for example by order confirmation or starting production).

4.2 You must check artwork, wording, spelling, photos, quantities, sizes and finishes before you approve print.

4.3 Free design (where offered) means we prepare artwork from materials you supply. You still remain responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply and approve.

4.4 Turnaround times are estimates unless we agree a fixed deadline in writing. UK delivery options depend on destination and product.

4.5 Bespoke / personalised print is made to your specification. You usually cannot cancel once production has started, except where we agree in writing.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment terms are as shown at checkout or on your account (for example card payment before production, or agreed account terms).

5.2 We may pause production or delivery if payment fails or an account is overdue.

5.3 Title in goods passes to you when we receive cleared payment in full. Risk passes on delivery to the address you gave us.

6. Delivery

6.1 You must give a complete and accurate delivery address.

6.2 If you are not available, the carrier’s rules apply. Re-delivery fees may apply.

6.3 We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (including carrier disruption, weather or industrial action).

7. Shortages, damage and reprints

7.1 Inspect goods on arrival. Tell us about damage, shortage or clear print faults within 3 working days of delivery (or within 1 working day if the carton is visibly damaged).

7.2 Keep packaging and photos to support a claim.

7.3 For proven faults caused by us, our usual remedy is reprint or replacement. We are not obliged to refund if we can reasonably reprint.

7.4 Slight colour or finish variation can occur between screens, proofs and final print. That alone is not a fault.

8. Intellectual property and content you supply

8.1 You confirm you own or have rights to use all text, logos, photos and other materials you supply.

8.2 You grant us a licence to use those materials only to provide the services.

8.3 You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you supply (including privacy, defamation and IP claims), so far as the law allows.

8.4 Our site templates, design tools and branding remain our property (or our licensors’).

9. Family and memorial content

9.1 Where jobs include personal data about living or deceased individuals, you confirm you have a lawful basis to provide that content to us for print and design.

9.2 We process such content only to fulfil your order and related support.

10. Liability

10.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

10.2 Subject to 10.1, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.

10.3 We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or other indirect or consequential loss.

11. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
